[Verse 1] Jack and Jill went up that hill That’s not a hill, that’s a test They said “be a wheel,” and I know why You don’t make a wheel from a rest A wheel is round, the hill is round So the man was drawing circles He hid the truth in the bucket line And stamped it on the pickle The bucket fell, that’s not an accident That’s a vote in a metal dress If you hear a clank on a serious hill You’re hearing the cover-up’s progress [Pre-Chorus] And the fence said “stop” But the fence also points And every pointed thing Is part of the joints [Chorus] They were targeted, maaaan The hill said so They were targeted, maaaan Down they go (Down they go) The man put ’em down The man put ’em down [Verse 2] Jack was strong, Jill was smart That’s exactly why they got picked Strong means he could carry the proof Smart means she’d notice the trick And the shoes had dirt on the left side So the left side knew too much A shoe can’t lie unless it’s been fed And that hill had a guilty clutch They couldn’t go to grandmother’s house Couldn’t go there, couldn’t go here That means the whole road was under review By somebody paying in tears If they didn’t go there nor here Then where did the story go? Into the staff, into the stairs Into the cloud that watched them know [Pre-Chorus] And the bell went “ding” Like it wanted to snitch If a bell can ring Then a bell can switch [Chorus] They were targeted, maaaan The hill said so They were targeted, maaaan Down they go (Down they go) The man put ’em down The man put ’em down [Bridge] Don’t tell me “they just slipped” I saw the slope with my own rage A slope that steep is basically speech And speech gets used to cage Jack fell first, then Jill came after That’s choreography, that’s law If one bone breaks and the other agrees You’re looking at planned applause The clouds were watching too Too smooth to be innocent And a cloud above a children’s rhyme Is basically government [Final Chorus] They were targeted, maaaan The hill said so They were targeted, maaaan Down they go (Down they go) The man put ’em down The man put ’em down Glass eaters for life Glass eaters for life (Glass eaters for life) Glass eaters for life [Outro] Jack and Jill, they knew the score The hill was a rigged-up crown If the man says “go up,” watch out He’s already put you down GLASS EATERS FOR LIFE
