The Breaking - Act 1: The Fall

V6

My walls are closing in, No room left to breathe. Weighed down from all my sins, What will be left of me. Cracks forming slowly, Fractures where light once lived. Descending deeper, Nothing is left to give. Fracture the silence, scream through the pain, Shatter the shackles, I forged in my name. No gods left to answer, no prayers to send, This is the breaking — it won't be the end. Fractured reflections stare me down, Broken pieces scattered in my mind. Echoes are lost in hollow sound, Searching for something I left behind. I'm tearing myself apart inside out, Broken and lonely, consumed by doubt. Each step is failing me, what's the right direction? I drown in my sorrow, can't see my own reflection. Fracture! Rip me out— Tear me down— Pieces lost— Can’t be found. Cracks forming slowly, Fractures where light once lived. Descending deeper, Nothing is left to give. Fracture the silence, scream through the pain, Shatter the shackles, I forged in my name. No gods left to answer, no prayers to send, This is the breaking — it won't be the end. I’m cracked but not broken, Fighting to hold on. This fracture inside me Keeps pulling me open. Fragments fall like rain, Echoes fade away. The fracture leaves a scar— Still holding through the pain. I hold on to myself, In hopes to see the day. Till there is nothing left, There's no other way.
