[InstrumeCONTROL UNIT TWENTY-SIX! [Verse 1] The beach is empty now The warning lights still burn The tide has disappeared But something will return The radios went quiet At twenty after two Then somewhere past the harbor A different signal broke through [Pre-Chorus] Stand by, stand by Hold the line Something's moving Past the signs [Chorus] This is Control Unit Twenty-Six! Calling through the night We have something on the radar But it doesn't look right This is Control Unit Twenty-Six! Keep the harbor clear Turn the boats around now Don't let anybody near [Verse 2] A fishing boat is drifting With nobody on the deck Its engine's still running But the radio is dead The compass keeps on turning The needle won't stay still And far beyond the lighthouse The sea begins to build [Pre-Chorus] Stand by, stand by Hear the tone Lock the gates And stay at home [Chorus] This is Control Unit Twenty-Six! Calling through the night We have something on the radar But it doesn't look right This is Control Unit Twenty-Six! Keep the harbor clear Turn the boats around now Don't let anybody near [Instrumental / Radio Voice] Control Twenty-Five, do you copy? Control Twenty-Five, come in. No response. Repeat — Control Twenty-Five, do you copy? There's something moving under the surface. And it's coming in. [Verse 3] The lighthouse starts to flicker Then suddenly goes black A siren wakes the city There's no more turning back The water fills the harbor But there is not a wave Just one enormous shadow Moving underneath the bay [Pre-Chorus] Move back, move back Clear the shore This is bigger Than before [Chorus] This is Control Unit Twenty-Six! Calling through the night We have something in the harbor Moving out of sight This is Control Unit Twenty-Six! Everybody clear Stay away from the water Don't let anybody near [Bridge] Twenty-Five gave the warning Twenty-Six stayed on the line One voice vanished in the static One kept calling through the night If the red lights start flashing If the harbor sirens cry Don't wait around for answers Get to higher ground in time [Final Chorus] This is Control Unit Twenty-Six! Final warning — move! Something's underneath us And we don't know what it'll do This is Control Unit Twenty-Six! Can anybody hear? Stay away from the water Stay away from the pier This is Control Unit Twenty-Six! Signal getting weak... Control Twenty-Five... Control Twenty-Five... Do you copy me? [Outro – Radio Static] Twenty-Five... Twenty-Five... ...come in... [Static] Signal lost.ntal]
