[Verse] Greg's living on welfare Struggling to survive In Canada Where it's cold and the dreams die He's tired of the system It's got him feeling low But he's gotta keep going He's got nowhere else to go [Verse 2] He hears the voices on the forums They're full of hate Let'srun.com A breeding ground for the irate They judge him for the help he receives So unfair But they don't know what it's like They don't even care [Chorus] Welfare warrior Fighting for his rights In a world that's cold Where compassion's in short supply Welfare warrior Rising above the hate Greg's gonna make it Despite what they say
