Reborn (🤬)

Track 3 of 13 for Kiera Devros' second album, Pyroclasm. Lyrics ©️J. R. Shadle, III aka. Sephorus Prime ---------- [Intro, Instrumental] [Verse] Once thought that I'd made one giant mistake Thought I’d made my fucking existence break Thought my soul was a fickle thing she'd take Now I can see that it made us both more awake ‘cause neither of our fates have been fucking kind And the world started leaving us both behind Now this demon queen and I, we're both entwined And we're each a voice in each other's mind Now we're each doing more than just survive Cause this bind made us both feel more alive And a better future’s gonna make us both strive And this new outlook’s gonna make us both thrive [Chorus] Cause this better fate, hell yeah we're doing it And this unity we got, we're debuting it All your shitty judgments, we're eschewing it All the moral outrage, we're subduing it All the truth of today, yeah we're spewing it All the faith in tomorrow, we're renewing it All the wrongs that we got, we're undoing it All the healing we need, we're pursuing it [Post-Chorus] We could have been stuck, both of us forlorn But now we see that this merger made us both reborn! [Verse] We used to bitch a lot cause she couldn't be free Now we're wishing that they could just let us be And although the demon and I don't always agree We've found that this is a far better way to see Cause the whole world still needs plenty of healing And there's people that are incapable of dealing Since there's plenty of shit that keeps them all reeling So she and I have a plan that we're both feeling There's plenty of wicked people we can blame And they ain't fucking capable of feeling any shame So we're both gonna bring them some infernal flame And all the shit they've stolen, we're gonna reclaim [Bridge] Yeah, it's a plan that we once both hated Cause we made each other fucking agitated Separation is the only thing we once awaited But a better way forward, we both created We worked together, proved it can be done And we're done taking any shit from anyone This dual resurrection of ours has begun And kicking ass together? Fuck yeah it's been fun [Chorus] Cause this better fate, hell yeah we're doing it And this unity we got, we're debuting it All your shitty judgments, we're eschewing it All the moral outrage, we're subduing it All the truth of today, yeah we're spewing it All the faith in tomorrow, we're renewing it All the wrongs that we got, we're undoing it All the healing we need, we're pursuing it [Post-Chorus] We could have been stuck, both of us forlorn But now we see that this merger made us both reborn! [Outro, Instrumental] [END]
