**[Verse 1]** I stood there silent, heart still racing, trying hard to understand. Nothing about this little shop had gone the way I'd planned. I finally asked the only question my mind could think to say. "What's going on?" The tailor smiled... "I've been waiting for that." --- **[Verse 2]** "We've watched you for quite some time. The wallet wasn't lost. It was an invitation." I laughed. "You've got to be joking." He shook his head. "You could have kept the money." "You didn't." "You could have handed it to the police." "You didn't." "You could have walked away a dozen different times." "You didn't." --- **[Pre-Chorus]** "It wasn't honesty we were measuring. It wasn't courage. It wasn't luck. It was curiosity." --- **[Chorus]** Some people see a mystery... and close the door. Some people can't sleep until they know what's on the other side. You kept asking questions. You followed every clue. You weren't looking for Northwood House... Northwood House was looking for you. --- **[Verse 3]** He locked the door. The click echoed through the empty shop. Then carefully unfolded the little piece of paper. Three... Five... Seven... Four... Six... Five... "You've spent two days trying to understand this." He smiled. "Good. That means you're beginning to think like one of us." --- **[Bridge]** He spoke of an old industrialist. A collector. An explorer. A man convinced the greatest discoveries were never found by extraordinary people... Only by ordinary people who refused to stop asking, "Why?" --- **[Verse 4]** "We don't recruit detectives. We don't recruit scholars. We don't recruit heroes. We recruit curiosity." He looked straight at me. "So... after everything you've seen... after every opportunity to walk away... tell me... why are you still here?" I didn't even have to think. --- **[Final Chorus]** "What's next?" The words escaped before I realised I'd spoken them aloud. The tailor smiled for the first time. "Excellent." He reached beneath the counter... and placed an old brass key into my hand. "Welcome... to Northwood House." --- **[Outro]** Somewhere... behind a door I hadn't even noticed... my first adventure was already waiting.
