A massive brown dwarf is on a collision course with an active star, creating a rare astronomical event. With no dedicated research vessels close enough to reach the system in time, AEGIS Commander Joellyn Kelson asks Darek and his crew to gather as much observational data as possible. The crew of the Sector 9 spends hours monitoring the collision. Nareh analyzes the sensor readings while Korax and Vee'Lox oversee the long-range scans. From the observation lounge, Darek and Aurelya witness the spectacle as immense gravitational forces reshape the system, hurling stellar material into space and creating one of the most extraordinary natural events any of them have ever seen. Fascinated by what they are observing, the crew begins turning the scientific data into something unexpected. What starts as a routine observation mission gradually evolves into a song built directly from the measurements, calculations, and physical processes recorded during the collision. When the final report is transmitted back to AEGIS, it contains both the official scientific findings and a brand-new Interstellar Blues Syndicate track. Thus, Star Crash becomes one of the most unusual songs ever recorded by the band — and quite possibly the first rock song in the Orion Sector that can also be considered a legitimate scientific observation report. 😄 [Spoken Intro] "Approach vector locked." "Distance closing at constant rate." "No deviation." "Contact in T-minus..." [Instrumental Interlude] [Verse 1] Mass one registers mass two Gravitational binding begins Shells overlap at point zero Density spikes in core region [Pre-Chorus] Outer material strips first Angular momentum conserved Torque applied across interface Rotation axis tilts [Chorus] (Star crash) Structures fail sequentially (Star crash) Material transfers (Star crash) New equilibrium forms (Star crash) Transfer complete [Verse 2] Debris cloud expands radially Ejecta velocities measured Core remnant contracts Temperature profile flattens [Reflective Break] "Debris field stabilizes" "Orbital paths recalculated" "Residual heat dissipates slowly" "System re-enters steady state" [Bridge] Angular momentum redistributed New binary configuration detected Binding energy increased Cycle resumes [Final Chorus] (Star crash) Mass redistribution final (Star crash) Equilibrium achieved (Star crash) No anomaly remains (Star crash) Cycle resumes [Spoken Outro] "Observation log closed." "New system parameters logged." "No further anomalies." "End transmission."
