[Prologue] Hark, ye drinkers of fire and frost, Hear the tale of the savior lost. A knight once sworn to shield the land, Now damned by crown and marriage band. [Verse 1 – The Knight] He rode with a blade of star-forged light, A banner of dawn in the endless night. He swore to the widowed, the orphaned, the meek, “To shatter the chains of the gods ye seek.” The people hailed, “Our champion, true!” His armor shone with the morning’s hue. But the sword he bore in his noble hand, Whispered of power he scarce could withstand. [Chorus 1 – Rising] Oh knight of virtue, knight of flame, Your vow was pure, yet cursed your name. The gods looked down, the shadows sing, He marches forth the Ashen King. [Verse 2 – The Artifacts] He found the crown where the Sun had died, Blackened thorns in the ash of pride. Once light of the heavens, now broken, profane, A circlet of ruin, a shackle, a chain. And from the Moon, a ring of vow, Bound in silver, yet twisted now. A promise defiled, a bond undone, The stars wept blood where it once had shone. [Bridge – Whispers of the Sword] “Drink, O master, from root and bough, Sap of life, and rule them now. What gods have made, you shall unmake, The world is yours, the crown you’ll take.” [Verse 3 – The Alltree] Beneath the sky where the Alltree grows, Its roots in shadow, its branches in throes, He cut the bark, he drank its breath, He sipped both life and the seed of death. The sap ran thick, like molten flame, It burned his veins, it carved his name. No man, no god, no beast could cling Thus was born the Ashen King. [Chorus 2 – Prophetic] He seals the heavens, he breaks the chain, He casts out gods with fire and bane. The sun lies dead, the moons shall weep, The Ashen King has claimed the deep. [Verse 4 – The False Salvation] “Free! You are free!” his cry resounds, As temples burn and faith unbounds. No more shall gods their tithes demand, He gives them ruin, he gives them sand. The skies turn hollow, the seas retreat, The harvest dies at the people’s feet. For freedom crowned in ash and flame, Is but another god’s cruel game. [Extended Bridge] Oh knight, oh fool, oh broken hand, You sealed the gods, but cursed the land. A crown of ash, a ring defiled, The Alltree weeps for its stolen child. [Verse 5 – The Ender Revealed] The knight is gone, his oath is dust, The Ashen King ascends in trust. His sword still whispers, his veins still burn, The realms all sealed, none shall return. The Light lies slain, the Depth lies bound, The Moon lies silent, no song, no sound. And those who prayed for salvation sing: “All hail, all dread, the Ashen King.” [Final Chorus – Crushing, Repetitive] Ash to the cradle, ash to the grave, He seals the gods, yet none he saves. Ash in the temple, ash on the wing, Forever shall reign the Ashen King. Ash to the cradle, ash to the grave, He seals the gods, yet none he saves. Ash in the temple, ash on the wing, Forever shall reign the Ashen King. [Outro – Whispered Prophecy] He was a knight… he is the End… He saved the world… it will not mend. The crown of ash, the ring, the tree… The Ender comes. So let it be.
