[Intro] The launchpad hums with ozone's sharpest scent, where staves of light replace the ink and quill. The Leslie whirls until the wood is spent, a chrome-bound rocket born of Hammond's will. The vacuum tubes ignite the gospel fire, to launch the soul beyond the earthly wire. [Verse 1] The ozone stings, the score is written in the glare, Roy boards the launchpad of the subconscious mind. The Leslie whirls its heart within the heated air, A Hammond rocket leaving wood and wire behind. [Chorus 1] As Hammond's roar dissolves the sky above, neon tides of guitar strings start to flow. A sensory symphony of light and love, quenching the thirst that only star-drifters know. No longer bound by air or gravity's hand, he sails a sea no mortal map has planned. [Verse 2] He breaks the shell where gravity and physics fail, Neon tides of guitar shimmer, liquid and bright. To quench an astral thirst, he sets a psychic sail, Drinking deep from cascading currents of light. [Bridge 1] The drums provide the harvest for a hungry soul, Bass kicks heavy like a feast of golden grain. Through Mercury’s heat and Mars’s red control, He feeds upon the rhythm of a celestial rain. [Verse 3] Past Jupiter’s shadow and Saturn’s frozen rings, The map of the known world burns in the groove. Uranus breathes its ice while the Hammond sings, Out beyond the edges where the ancients move. [Break] The spectrum snaps, the colors turn to velvet ink, A roar of silence where the traveler is the song. No longer glass to shatter, no longer light to blink, In the center of the sound is where Roy belongs. [Chorus 2] The drums provide a harvest for the flight, each kick a heavy fruit, each snare a feast. He nods to Mercury in silver light, and watches Venus rising from the east. Through Martian mists of red and dusty glare, the rhythm breathes for him like solar air. [Outro] Past Jupiter where giant shadows play, and Saturn’s rings are grooves of spinning sound, the icy breath of Neptune fades away, while burning maps fall scattered to the ground. The known world flickers out like dying sparks, as Roy maneuvers through the outer arcs. The spectrum breaks in ultraviolet deep, a silence born of roars too loud to bear. Into the velvet ink where secrets sleep, the traveler dissolves into the air. No start or end, no destination's plea—in center-sound, he simply learns to be. Written by SongAlizer
