(Act XIII: Darktooth and a select group of Draak-Kin, who will later be known as the Starfallen, construct and launch the vessel that will carry them through light-years of space, never to see their beloved planet Earth again.) [Verse] With crisis at our door, We must face reality. Our world's no longer ours. We're overrun and dying! [Verse] Their plans are foolishness, Mere thrashing against the truth. We must leave for a place Untouched by our enemies! [Verse] Building takes all we have. Cooperation untried. Rivals work side by side. The impossible, achieved! [Verse] We board our salvation With one last glance at the Earth. Farewells to all we've known, So near and yet so far away! [Chorus] Rising from our ancient land, Toward the starry sea. Hope singing in our hearts, That we might be free. Engines roar as we defy Prophecies of death. Past and future made distinct In a single breath. The familiar fades away, But with spirits soaring high. Let tears stay with the Earth. Our new home is past the sky! [Extended Guitar Solo] [Bridge] In this choice, was wisdom found, Or did I condemn those who stayed? Have I fulfilled the prophecy we feared By stealing the worthy few away? [Chorus] Rising from our ancient land, Toward the starry sea. Hope singing in our hearts, That we might be free. Engines roar as we defy Prophecies of death. Past and future made distinct In a single breath. The familiar fades away, But with spirits soaring high. Let tears stay with the Earth. Our new home is past the sky! [Shouting Outro] Our new home is past the sky! Our new home is past the sky! Our new home is past the sky! [Melancholy Outro] Our new home is past the sky. Our new home is past the sky...
