Travel down this moonlit road. Final destination…still unknown. No kinds of worries… No kinds of cares… …as I take a drag off my cigarette… …and shift through the gears. (oohh) Radio playing loud… Keeps me awake… Tapping my thumb on the steering wheel. As I ease the corner…gently with the handbrake. (whoa) Into the highway’s dark abyss Into the unknown. (Just into the unknown) …cause nothin’ ventured. …is nothin’ to gain. Just travelin’ down this open road. With the hum of the tires…drumming out any pain. Into the highway’s dark abyss Into the unknown. (Just into the unknown) Comet streaks across the midnight sky. Catch it…out of the corner of my eye. Light another smoke…and take a deep drag. Gotta stop soon…just one left in my pack. (oohh) Such freedom…traveling the open road. No clocks to watch…or any particular place to go. Just me and my ride…with a tank…that’s full. No destination in mind…living life…by my own set of rules. (Just into the unknown) Travel down this moonlit road. Final destination…still unknown. No kinds of worries… No kinds of cares… …as I take a drag off my cigarette… …and shift through the gears. (oohh) Just truckin’ on down life’s highway…into the unknown!! [Outro, Style Change] [End, Slow and Gentle Fade]
