Seconds Well Spent (Written January 5, 2016) [Intro] (Acoustic guitar strums with a steady clock-ticking beat) [Verse 1] As I sit and ponder on the day’s events, I’m thankful and reassured that it’s time well spent. Knowing that truly I’m blessed and highly favored, Father God is in control, so every second I savor. So appreciative of the fact that I’ve been given this call, Being used as His vessel, a watchman to stand tall. [Chorus] Every second of day’s events, puzzle pieces fit at the seam! With understanding of revelations that come from Taylor’s dream! Serving the Lion of Light as a soldier in the fight, Honoring my Father as I walk inside His light! Oh, it’s time well spent... every second, time well spent! [Verse 2] As words begin to flow as the anointing takes hold, Given much knowledge and understanding as wisdom foretold. With overwhelming joy to see others smile from her impact, Faith grows to the point it’s all become a sure fact. [Verse 3] Revealing mysteries of our Father, given by the Lion of Light, As a soldier of the Lord, I overcome every battle and fight. Forever wanting to share my thankfulness to my Father, My waking, seconds by seconds, honoring Him is no bother. [Bridge] (Beat drops to heavy bass and energetic rhythm) Speaking of the things He has chosen me to tell and reveal, Misunderstood by many, but remaining completely in His will! Not concerned how I’m looked upon by those with itching ears, They want smooth speech and comforting words given by their peers! Oh, but for every special one who God has chosen to really know, The power of His Christ, His love, makes it a pleasure to speak and go! [Outro] Willing and acting for His good pleasure, all the seconds of day's events, So, so thankful to my Father, knowing it was time well spent! Every second... blessed and favored. Every minute... highly savored. Time well spent!
