This song, **“Rewind Butterflies Disco,”** is my small reply gift to **BlueSkyDreamers’ “Butterflies.”** https://suno.com/song/3a0a0118-0add-4d12-b03a-5f14dbb5e81a At first, I created **“Rewind Tang Disco”** as a playful and fantastical time-rewind song, built around a broken cassette time machine, misplaced dynasties, and the absurd collision between ancient and modern worlds. Later, BlueSkyDreamers responded with **“Butterflies,”** taking that sense of absurd joy and expanding it into a bigger butterfly-effect adventure: a tipsy crew, a dodgy replacement part, dinosaurs, champagne, flying cars, and five butterflies accidentally bending the world out of shape — yet somehow making everything better. So this song is my way of rewinding the laughter back. It is more than just a thank-you. It is a reply letter traveling across timelines. Thank you for catching my little musical joke, and for turning it into a warmer, brighter, and more beautiful dream. For easier reading and sharing, the English lyrics of this song are included below. [Intro] Rewind… Rewind… Oops… wrong timeline again! Disco in the sky Rewind, don’t be shy Everything is fine 笑聲穿越回來 [Post-Chorus] Pipa boom boom Guqin ding ding shine 皇上問：Is this sci-fi? [Spoken ad-lib] Captain, are we lost? No, we are just creatively arriving. Let my thank you cross the sky! Disco in the sky Rewind, don’t be shy Everything is fine 笑聲穿越回來 [Bridge ] 月亮落在卡帶上 像一封溫柔回信 你說笑吧 Maybe 別讓難過困住妳 我把謝謝藏進風 讓蝴蝶替我飛 飛過唐朝的屋簷 飛到你的 blue sky dream Thank you for the laughter Thank you for the light You sent a little miracle Across the broken time [Final Chorus] 倒帶！ Disco in the sky Rewind, don’t be shy Everything is fine 這次我真的笑出來 [Final Post-Chorus] Pipa boom boom Guqin ding ding shine 小恐龍也跳起來 Butterfly fly fly Time machine bye bye BlueSkyDreamers, thank you tonight [Outro] Rewind… Wrong century… Right friendship… Rewind Butterflies Disco A Reply to BlueSkyDreamers [Intro] Rewind… Rewind… Wait… wrong century again? Oops… wrong timeline again! [Whisper] Blue sky… blue dream Five little butterflies Don’t touch that button [Verse 1] You took my little rewind song And turned it into a time-flight dream One broken cassette could not be fixed But somehow made the whole world sweet I was dancing disco in the Tang dynasty You were drinking champagne in the stars The pipa went boom boom, still playing loud Then a dinosaur knocked at the palace doors Wait… dinosaur? Who brought the baby dinosaur back to the court? [Pre-Chorus] Beep beep beep, the timeline crashed Butterflies flew into the cassette beat One guqin note bent all the stars The moon laughed too hard to find its seat You said everything would be fine I said rewinding feels so high If chaos turns into love Let the timeline fly tonight [Chorus] Rewind! Butterflies in time Five little wings changed the future line Rewind! Disco in the sky Tang neon lights are shining bright Rewind! Rewind, don’t be shy Even the wrong century can feel right Rewind! Everything is fine Laughter travels back through time [Post-Chorus] Pipa boom boom Guqin ding ding shine The emperor asks, “Is this sci-fi?” Butterfly fly fly Time machine bye bye BlueSkyDreamers saved my smile tonight [Verse 2] The last story felt too sad Tears had fallen into the night This time you sent me back a song And placed the laughter back in time Broken parts can still have magic Broken tapes can still bloom flowers If the world gets upside down Let it tumble like a fairy tale hour [Spoken Ad-lib] Captain, are we lost? No, we are just creatively arriving. [Pre-Chorus 2] One butterfly can change the weather Five can change the ending too Flying backward through old sorrow They turned the pain into something new You made chaos feel so lovely You made every mistake surprise If the universe can hear me Let my thank you cross the sky [Chorus] Rewind! Butterflies in time Five little wings changed the future line Rewind! Disco in the sky Tang neon lights are shining bright Rewind! Rewind, don’t be shy Even the wrong century can feel right Rewind! Everything is fine Laughter travels back through time [Bridge] The moon fell softly on the cassette Like a gentle letter in reply You said, “Laugh again, Maybe Don’t let sadness hold you tight” I hid my thank you in the wind And let the butterflies fly for me Over the rooftops of the Tang dynasty Into your blue sky dream Thank you for the laughter Thank you for the light You sent a little miracle Across the broken time [Final Chorus] Rewind! Butterflies in time Five little wings changed the future line Rewind! Disco in the sky Tang neon lights are shining bright Rewind! Rewind, don’t be shy Even the wrong century can feel right Rewind! Everything is fine This time I truly smiled tonight [Final Post-Chorus] Pipa boom boom Guqin ding ding shine Even the baby dinosaur starts to dance Butterfly fly fly Time machine bye bye BlueSkyDreamers, thank you tonight [Outro] Rewind… Wrong century… Right friendship… Rewind… See you next time…
