V6-MINI

[The entire track is performed using an MPC sampler. Each button triggers a short recorded sample. Pressing a button briefly triggers a short sound; holding it down lets the sample play longer. By tapping different buttons in rapid succession, the samples are played like keys on a strange, unconventional keyboard, creating new rhythms, melodies and patterns from tiny fragments of the original recording. Samples are chopped, retriggered, repeated, looped, pitched, scratched and rearranged in real time. Fingers dance across the MPC pads, triggering unpredictable combinations of squeaks and musical fragments. Everything is built from these individual sample hits, assembled into a playful, constantly evolving cut-and-paste performance. No conventional instruments: the MPC pads are the instrument.] [INTRO: Start with the original squeaky melody, sounding almost like a cheap children's toy or nursery-song sample. Let it play just long enough to establish its ridiculous character.] [BEAT ENTRY: Sudden dusty breakbeat and funky house kick. Deep elastic bassline enters. Chop the squeaky melody into short rhythmic fragments.] [MAIN GROOVE: Aggressive MPC-style cut-and-paste arrangement. Repeat tiny squeaks, pitch them up and down, rearrange notes, create unexpected call-and-response patterns. Add vinyl scratches, stutters, reverse cuts and tape stops.] [MAIN GROOVE 2: Aggressive MPC-style cut-and-paste arrangement. Repeat tiny squeaks, pitch them up and down, rearrange notes, create unexpected call-and-response patterns. Add vinyl scratches, stutters, reverse cuts and tape stops.] [BREAKDOWN: Strip away the drums. Let the original childish melody play in a warped, slowed-down version. Suddenly interrupt it with ridiculous micro-cuts and scratches.] [SECOND DROP: Bring back the full groove with heavier bass, more frantic chopping, extra percussion and increasingly absurd variations of the squeaky sample.] [THIRD DROP: almost brng the music to a complete stop than gradually Bring back the bass building drilling driving hard, more frantic chopping, extra percussion and increasingly absurd variations of the squeaky sample.] [OUTRO: A final rapid-fire sequence of chopped squeaks, scratches and record stops. End with one lonely, high-pitched squeak.]
