Suwako's Lament,Touhou Project
In ancient times of yore, Suwako held her reign, A queen of simple lands, where curses brought the pain. Mishaguji spirits, she tamed them with her grace, In the fields and harvests, her will had found its place. But then came mighty whispers, from lands called Yamato, Promised a great uniting, an end to her small tow. With faith and fire they marched, to Suwako's sacred ground, She stood her ground firmly, as the gods' war drums did sound. Oh Suwako, queen of old, Your kingdom stands in stories told. Against the tide, you fought so strong, In tales of battles lost and won. Fields turned to battlefields, where harvests used to grow, In shadowed moonlit nights, her spirit and her row. Rivers once clear of gloom, now mirrored warrior’s cries, Echoes of a kingdom, where hope and terror vie. Invaders came with promises, to forge a single land, But Suwako, heart steadfast, would never break nor bend. Legends of your bravery, now whisper through the pines, A small kingdom’s ruler, with strength from ancient times. Oh Suwako, queen of old, Your kingdom stands in stories told. Against the tide, you fought so strong, In tales of battles lost and won.
