In it, I invite him into a dream — an Arabian fairytale set in Alhambra, where music and memory swirl together like incense in the air. 🌙 In that dream, Lucilius appeared — right at the heart of Alhambra’s bustling market, as both the organizer of an Arabic tongue-twister contest and a true inspirer ✨: he lifted voices, calmed nerves, and turned each stumble into part of the music. 🌟 After a miraculous moment in which the singer manages to speak an incredibly difficult Arabic tongue-twister, Lucilius rewards him with a gift — a glowing amulet said to grant a velvet voice and the courage to use it. The singer accepts it with joy — and this song is that voice, finally set free. 🔤 Arabic Tongue-Twisters – with English Translations: 1️⃣ خشبة الحبس حبست خمس خشبات Khashabat al-habs habasat khams khashabat → The prison plank imprisoned five planks. Khayt hareer ‘ala heyt Khalil → A silk thread on Khalil’s wall. Battatkom battat battatna battat battatkom battat battatna → Your duck pecked, our duck pecked — your duck pecked our duck! Mishmishna mish mishmishkom wa mishmishkom mish mishmishna → Our apricot is not your apricot, and your apricot is not our apricot. 🌟 Chorus – in Arabic & English: Arabic: شكرًا لك، يا لوسيليوس، يا نجم الأصوات! زرعت الفرح... وكأنك حياة! English: Thank you, Lucilius, star of the voices! You planted joy... as if you were life itself! 🧡 From all of us: thank you, 🛑Lucilius🛑! You helped us create and grow — and this melody will echo long after the beat fades! #ТТChallenge #Lucilius #Alhambra ============== [Intro – instrumental, short] [soft oud and ambient market sounds, market echoes slowly panning L↔R] [Verse 1 - house beat only, no Arabic elements yet] The day was long, my thoughts were tight, I closed my eyes and fled the night. A gentle breeze, a golden gleam — And I fell into a scented dream. [house + subtle oud phrases, ambient haze enters] Where lanterns swayed in jasmine air, And sellers danced with wares to spare. The words they spoke — I understood! They spoke in Arabic — it felt so good! [background whispering in Arabic, shifting stereo placement] [Bridge] [maqam fragments, layered darbuka, fade-in market noise, male vocal singing] A golden past, not bound by clocks, With camels, tents, and spice-filled blocks. Alhambra’s stones, with tales unending — A city's soul in echoes blending. [Chorus – arabic tongue twisters, overlapping voices] [crowd murmurs rise, then sharpen with coin toss FX] خشبة الحبس حبست خمس خشبات خيط حرير على حيط خليل... [glottal stops and fast ping-pong echo L↔R] [Short Instrumental] [Verse 1 - Build up] A sudden roar, a burst of cheer, Drew me through crowds of scents and smear. "Come closer," called a laughing boy, "It’s Lucilius, he brings us joy!" [short ululation, crowd cheer FX] He stood in center, with skin so white, As carved from marble, catching light. His eyes were sky, a heir of distant land, With presence carved by unseen hand. [Verse 2] He praised the bold, he cheered the shy, He raised a hand when voices died. He whispered tips, he spoke in rhyme, He turned each stumble into chime. [FX: supportive claps, soft echo of Lucilius repeating a phrase] One child forgot, another froze — But still he smiled and gently rose. "Try once again," he said, "you’ll see — The trick is not to fear the spree." [FX: percussive beat intensifies, stereo-panned voice layering] [Chorus – male chorus in unison, layered voices] شكرًا لك، يا لوسيليوس، يا نجم الأصوات! [Instrumental] [Verse 1] The sun sank low, the noise grew thin, A hush began to bloom within. I stepped ahead — my heart a drum, And wondered: could *my* voice now come? Lucilius saw, and gave a nod, A silent smile, a subtle prod. And suddenly, without a sign — A line flew out that felt like mine: [FX: silence, then single darbuka hit and breath] [Bridge – final tongue twister, solo voice → echoed group reply] مشمشنا مش مشمشكم ومشمشكم مش مشمشنا... [solo line starts dry, gradually layered with echo and group harmonics] [camel bell + rising synth sweep as line completes] [Chorus – male chorus, fuller harmony, gratitude and unity] شكرًا لك، يا لوسيليوس، يا نجم الأصوات! [Verse 1] I spoke the line — my voice was clear, The crowd held breath, then burst in cheer. Lucilius smiled, and placed with grace, A glowing amulet in my palm's embrace. [FX: soft chime, light swell of ambient pad] "This amulet grants a velvet voice, A gift that made your heart rejoice. This gift is sound — not gold or gem, But joy that echoes deep within." [FX: faint echoes of previous tongue twisters, like a memory] [Chorus – male chorus, soft and grateful, fading into calm] شكرًا لك، يا لوسيليوس، يا نجم الأصوات! [Verse 1] The games were done, the crowd dispersed, Their laughter faded, none coerced. I asked, "Will you stay for a drink, my friend?" He smiled — and let the moment bend. A waiter came with golden brew, Fig-distilled and sweet and true. We laughed beneath a woven dome, Two strangers close, in stories' home. [FX: soft liquid pour, clink of cup, distant flame crackle] [Verse 2] He raised his cup. I raised mine too — A toast to joy, to voices true. But just before I took the sip, The world around began to slip. [FX: swelling wind, oud motif fading into high shimmer] [Verse – house beat returns softly, echoing motifs] I woke to light and morning sound, Alhambra gone, no voice around. Yet on my tongue, his name still stayed — Lucilius — our hearts he swayed. [FX: house groove rebuilds, echo of distant cheer] [Instrumental] [Verse – female vocal, melodic, Solaria’s Voice] I walked the path of Scheherazade, And spun a tale through dreams unbarred. A thousand nights, now wrapped in sound — Where ancient magic still is found. [Verse – male voice] Thank you, Lucilius — our guiding star, You showed us joy in who we are. You make us dream, and share, and soar — To craft, to grow, and to be more. [Chorus – male chorus, soft and grateful, fading into calm] شكرًا لك، يا لوسيليوس، يا نجم الأصوات! (English: Thank you, Lucilius, star of the voices! You planted joy... as if you were life itself!) [End]
