A Guest on Planet Earth

V5.5

In this life, my friend, we’re all just passing guests, And all we possess is a handful of time at best. One day the guest will leave, his journey complete, The Master will take back the breath He gave. I’ve seen the rivers flow toward the open sea, Mountains standing tall while the wild winds scream! This life is a field where we sow seeds of light, So we can give our true answer in Eternity’s sight! All is for good, in mist or dew, Life’s a caravan — we pass through. We’ll leave this world as the dawn fades away, I hope we’ve lived our lives not in vain. Don’t let this life sink deep into your heart, Lest your soul drown in passion’s stormy art. Let the world roll beneath you like waves at the helm, Guard your inner purity as you return to the realm. The world is a bridge — hear me, just a bridge, Don’t waste your hours on illusory goals, On empty noise and quarrels over nothing at all. We are but guests in a cradle that sways and calls, While our eternal home lies beyond the sacred bridge, Awaiting us upon Eternity’s edge. If this world were worth a mosquito’s wing, The faithless would not drink a drop from the bucket. But the Lord is merciful — He gives us His light, So in every soul we may see His trace. All is for good, in mist or dew, Life’s a caravan — we pass through. We’ll leave this world as the dawn fades away, I hope we’ve lived our lives not in vain. Love. Cherish. Preserve this light. Beyond the line — there is no time… Beyond the line — there is no time… Love. Cherish. Preserve this light. The light from God until your final breath — Keep it safe within your soul, In your soul, keep it whole… In your soul, keep it whole… In your soul, keep it whole…
