[Verse 1] Door cracked open, bass on low Fingers on the lock, let me in slow Muddy boots by the wall Your name on my tongue, I hear it call [Pre-Chorus] Curtains drawn, let it go dark Heartbeats cut like sparks One more step, then we start You and me, party in the dark [Chorus] Party in the dark Party in the dark Hold me close tonight We don't need no spark Party in the dark Party in the dark We make our own glow When the room goes black [Verse 2] Red cup tipped on the sink Laugh so hard, we don't even think Someone spills on the floor I grab your hand, you ask for more [Pre-Chorus] Curtains drawn, let it go dark Heartbeats cut like sparks One more step, then we start You and me, party in the dark [Chorus] Party in the dark Party in the dark Hold me close tonight We don't need no spark Party in the dark Party in the dark We make our own glow When the room goes black [Bridge] No names, no plans Just your hand in my hand When the walls fall away We can stay this way [Final Chorus] Party in the dark Party in the dark Hold me close tonight We don't need no spark Party in the dark Party in the dark We make our own glow When the room goes black
