Prężą grzbiety dumnie, ostrzą swoje pazury, Nasze chłopaki to kamieniczne lwy i kocury! Wszystkie Koty i Kotki tworzą tu bandę zgraną! [Outro] Miau! Dla Kotek! Miau, miau... kici, kici... Mruu! Dla Kocurów! Szakalu, Siaka czeka... Dzień Szakala to dziś! 🐾 Jackal’s Day (The Cat’s Day in the Tenement) [Intro] [Verse 1] Look at the stairs, look at the halls, Thirty tenants, each with their own calls. But today at number thirteen and every floor too, Every Tomcat is king, with a bold point of view! Arching their backs, sharpening claws with pride, Our boys are the lions, with nothing to hide! [Verse 2] And our Lady-cats, those beautiful queens, Charming the world with their graceful routines. Moving like silk through our shared common ground, In their soft fur, a deep peace can be found. For each of you today – a bowl filled with sun, And a scratching post of joy that is never quite done! [Chorus] ’Cause it’s Jackal’s Day and a grand purring spree! All the Toms and the Queens are a wild family! Siaka and Motet send wishes with heart, May the lights in our rooms never drift apart! A special loud purr for Jackal at thirteen, Siaka’s got the love-trap ready for the scene! [Bridge] Doesn’t matter if you're a champion or from the street, Today every Queen thinks you're a real treat! Let no one hiss, let no one be grouchy, Even if the neighbor’s pipes are sounding quite ouchy. For the cat law at home never fails to be true: From now on, Black Jackal... remember, he rules you! [Outro] Meow! For the Queens! Meow, meow... kitty, kitty... Mrrr! For the Toms! Jackal, Siaka is waiting... Jackal’s Day is today!
