Translating Reality

Life... The experience of oneself in a lasting hallucination. Our senses pick up external stimuli, which in turn are translated to electric signals by our nervous system. Once arrived at the brain, those electric signals are neurologicaly translated, to what we believe to be reality. But can reality be real when it needs translation?
