The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. Proverbs 12:19 So often, in this world, truth seems to be crushed to the ground, while lies prevail and become popular. Some are even convicted of or acquitted of crimes based on lies told in court by those under oath to speak the truth. But truth will prevail in the end, and the day of lies will flee away and seem like a brief moment, forgotten in the endless days of eternity. Let my lips speak the truth, Lord, and my tongue declare Your praise. Let my lips speak the truth, Lord, and my tongue declare Your praise. Let me not fall prey to the lies and deception of satan. Let Your truth prevail over error, Your Gospel of unbelief, and Your purposes over all the schemes of men and of satan that would seek to thwart them. Let my lips speak the truth, Lord, and my tongue declare Your praise. Let my lips speak the truth, Lord, and my tongue declare Your praise. But truth will prevail in the end, and the day of lies will flee away and seem like a brief moment, forgotten in the endless days of eternity. Amen.
