There is No Condemnation Now That I’m in Christ

Heavy chains, they used to bind me Guilt and shame, they wrapped around me Every mistake, a crushing blow Now a new song I've come to know. There is no condemnation now that I’m in Christ I’m a new creation through His sacrifice He bore the weight, now my penalties paid By His death on the cross my life is remade. The accuser whispers, points to the past Trying to hold me, binding me fast But I know the truth, it sets me free A child of God eternally. The law demands, perfection's plea But grace abounds, for you and me Forgiveness flows, a cleansing stream His blood forever makes me clean.
