[Intro] [Verse 1] Time to get some sunlight, on this pink back. Throw on my cut off jorts. and the widest straw hat. Grab some fire bud, from the weed shack. Ice down a cooler of PBR and a fifth of Jack. Don't forget a deck of cards. Pack up the truck, and go set up camp. For the next 3 days, go on and forget my number. Cause... [Chorus] Gone, to get some summer. Ima take a weekend. Find 2 tree's together. Hang a hammock between them. Play some music with my lake tribe. Soak in the sunny fresh air. Be thankful to be alive. Come All, All Comers. Love my loved ones by my side. But Don't bother coming, if You're gonna be a bummer. Party positive vibes only. Gone, to get some summer... Gone, to get some summer... [Verse 2] Gotta buy the biggest American flag, plant it on the river bank. Smell of grillin in the air, I could stay here forever and a day. My baby rubbing aloe vera, on my fresh sun burn. Couple of shots for breakfast. And it don't even hurt. Get the 1st timers, Up on a set of skis. Let the kids go tubing, those smiles, I love to see. We're gonna jump off of, the highest cliffs. End the day playing guitar, singing aroud the fire pit. [Chorus] Gone, to get some summer. Forget the world, living free. Rent Us a party barge. and fill it up to capacity. Play some music with river vibes. Soak in the sunny fresh air. We're All thankful to be alive. Come All, All Comers. Bring the friends, kids and wives. But Don't bother coming, if You're gonna be a bummer. Party positive vibes only. Gone, to get some summer... Gone, to get some summer... [Bridge] On our anniversary, will spend that weekend. Snuggled up in a hammock, Just Us with no them. 90's country by the fire.. Soak in the fresh night air. Be thankful for our life. All Comers, just stay home. Just Me and the Queen, this time. So, Don't bother coming, Third wheels would be a bummer. Sexy romantic vibes only. We're gone, to get some summer... Gone, to get some summer... Gone, to get some summer! [Outro]
