Hide & Seek With Closet Monsters [NDC]

Nordic Discord Challenge Genre: Children's Music Theme: Favorite Play ▶️ Lyrics The clock struck seven, time for bed A thought popped into my sleepy head I tiptoed quiet, soft and slow To where the closet monsters go I whispered, monsters, come and play Let's have a game of hide-and-seek today Hide-and-seek, behind the coats Hide-and-seek, with silly notes One, two, three, I’ll start to count You giggle, snuffle, a happy amount I covered my eyes and started to call Ready or not, I cried to the wall I heard a scuffle, a fuzzy sound A purple foot on the floor I found Then one was hiding behind a shoe He said, you found me, now, boo-ka-boo Hide-and-seek, behind the coats Hide-and-seek, with silly notes One, two, three, I’ll start to count You giggle, snuffle, a happy amount I found another up on a shelf Trying to hide all by himself He'd draped a sock right on his nose And wiggled all ten of his fuzzy toes The last one thought he was so sly But his polka-dot tail gave a cheerful goodbye We played until the moon was high Then heard my mother's gentle sigh Time for sleep, my dear, she said So all the monsters went to bed They gave a yawn, a sleepy grin And promised we would play again Shhh, the closet door is shut quite tight Goodnight, monsters Sleep well Goodnight
