Don't Smoke Unless You Want to Look Cool! (1980s PSA)

[Verse] I know you don’t want to look bad Or to make your parents real mad Don’t do drugs, you’ll cause a panic All they’ll do is make you manic! [Chorus] Don’t smoke unless you don’t follow the rules Don’t do drugs so you can be cool in school All the adults will think you’re totally fine Just eat healthy and never cross that line [Verse] Don’t try to look mysterious The trouble is real serious You don’t want to look so edgy Don’t talk to strangers, eat your veggies! [Bridge] Come on! You can be in our crowd! Stay off drugs, shout it loud and proud! Avoid cigarettes, it’s real fun Playing great games with everyone [Chorus] Don’t smoke unless you don’t follow the rules Don’t do drugs so you can be cool in school All the adults will think you’re totally fine Just eat healthy and never cross that line [Verse] Don’t give in to peer temptations They only want some new sensations Cocaine makes you stay up all night Go to bed so you’ll feel just right [Chorus] Don’t smoke unless you don’t follow the rules Don’t do drugs so you can be cool in school All the adults will think you’re totally fine Just eat healthy and never cross that line [Last Chorus] Don’t smoke unless you don’t follow the rules Don’t do drugs so you can be cool in school All the adults will think you’re totally fine Just eat healthy and never cross that line [ANNOUNCER SPOKEN WORD END] That’s right kids! You don’t want to stand out too much. You don’t want to look edgy or mysterious. You want to blend in with the crowd, no one wants to stand out from their friends!
