[Verse] Woke up today and my head was poundin'. Leaky nose, scratchy throat, and a fever keepin me in bed. Wanna sleep all day but I just can't afford. To stay up all night so I guess I'll power through. The trash can wait today, and so can the dishes. Won't scoop the litter box, but I'll still feed the cat. And I'll have to put off my laundry for one more day. And I really hope this feelin' ain't an. Ear infection. Cuz I've already got problems keepin' everything balanced. [Guitar Interlude] [Verse] It was warm enough to start workin my garden beds. But this cold I got is keepin' me cooped up inside. Found some cough medicine in the back of the cabinet. But of course it's two years past the expiration date. But I Door Dashed some lemons for my mug of hot water. And I'll mix some local honey in and stir it up. And I'll drop some vitamin C in and watch it fizz. (plop plop. pssssshhhhhhh) And I'll drink it down and cringe at the taste. I really need to take a shower, but that would mean gettin' up. But I probably should just to save myself. From restin' my eyes for too long. And waking up a couple of hours later. With the day gone and me just in a daze. Gonna wash my sheets tomorrow if I feel better. And if I don't, then I guess I'll just. Have to go from there. I'll just have to go from there. No sense plannin' anything else.
