there’s a space between my thoughts where something almost lived it tried to introduce itself but forgot what it is half a second slipped away before it could exist now it lingers in my chest like a moment that I missed i tried to hold it still but it blurred inside my hands like a word i almost knew in a language never planned call it nothing call it mine call it something out of time half a second without a name still echoes just the same
