[Verse] Kate She forgot her son Left him behind The damage is done But Uncle Frank He tries to mend With a small comfort till the end [Verse] "If it makes you feel any better I forgot my reading glasses " he said Words so simple But so sincere In a moment like this They are all we need [Chorus] Oh Forgetting yesterday It happens sometimes We stumble through life Making our own rhymes But in those moments of forgetfulness We find A connection A laughter A love so kind
