Tomie: Beginning

[Intro: cinematic, whispered] "She’s so pretty…" "she’s so sweet…" "She’s so deadly underneath…" [clap-clap-clap] This is how it all began... [Verse 1] Transfer steps in, halls go hush Boys all stutter, girls all blush Pretty little dagger with a sugar touch She laugh so soft, but it cut too much Eyes like ink spillin’ on white sheets She lean in close, promise tastes like heat One smile, you fall, then your knees get weak Don’t blink, don’t speak... [Pre-Chorus:] She the whisper in the classroom, chalk dust that blooms She the shadow in the restroom, piss and doom You adore her, can’t ignore her Even when her love’s your tomb... [Chorus] Tomie, beginning of sin, she grins Heartbeats thump like horror within False safety, then she flip it, razor on skin Every kiss a curse, every secret she spins Tomie, burnin’ in your veins like gin Once you taste her, you won’t ever win [Verse 2] Dead bitch, still in the shine Red ribbon strangle all in line Girl by her side, hand slip thigh Sweet seduction, watch her lie (lie) She the rumor that crawl in your head at night Boys fight boys, drippin’ red delight Girls spit spite, but they still want a bite One cut, one slice, still she rise [Bridge] "Kill her! Kill her! Do the favor, do it twice!" But she still laughin’ when the knife hit, slice and dice Patch-eyed witness, horror come to light She don’t die, she don’t die, ain’t no fuckin' right [Breakdown] "Cut her! Cut her down!" "Bury her! Burn her now!" "Favor done… favor done…" [Whisper, layered] But bitch, she back… she back… [Taiko drums slam, deep burning bass] She’s in the river, rise from the foam She’s in the fire, laughin’ in the smoke She’s in the dirt, clawin’ down to bone Every scream a hymn, every grave a womb Schoolyard mob, hands stained red Every knife sink, still she glisten and smile Heads roll, bodies twistin’ Yet her lips still pout, her eyes still listen [Explosive layering] "Kill her! Kill her!" echoing again "She return, she return!" bitch’ within Cut her, crush her, drown her, spin (spin-spin) But bitch, she back, and she always wins [Chorus] Tomie, beginning of the end, she grins Heartbeat still poundin’ deep within False safety, then she drag you under her skin Every scream explode, every web she spins Tomie, etched in your blood like kin Once she choose you, you won’t ever win... [Outro: soft, seductive] Best friend… forever… ever-ever-ever-ever... [dissonant] Never… never… never… [Shamisen pluck, bass drop, silence.]
