The edge of Time (alt)

If the sky falls will it make a sound Or just hide in the folds of a flower Will the stars stay steady or scatter wide Wings of fireflies lost in the evening tide ¡ I wonder where they’ll go The ones with wings The ones in the quietest hour ¡ If the sky falls where do butterflies go Do they find new winds or sink down below Do they rise with the dawn or fade in the night Chasing the weight of the world's tear ¡ If the rain weeps will the flowers bow Will the earth sleep in the fields Do the clouds search for a patch of blue Or just dreams of a world that will never be ¡ Maybe they’ll fly to a place we can’t find Beyond the hills or the edge of time Maybe they’ll rest on the moonlit sea Dancing in the rain when no one's near ¡ If the sky falls where do butterflies go Do they find new winds or sink down below Do they rise with the dawn or fade in the night Chasing lullaby for the falling years
