[instrumental] [Male voice] [Verse] Oooh, a star glittered bright in the sky, I remember that night long ago. As I watched over the sheep at night, I heard angel's voices, --- singing low. [Pre-chorus] “Hallelujah”, they sang, “A prince is born!” “Hallelujah”, they sang, (“A prince is born tonight!”) [Chorus] I gazed at the face, of the babe lyin’ there, My heart overflowed from His love. I looked in the empty tomb where he laid, Then rejoiced, for mankind, the price, --- He paid. Then in glory ascended to heaven. In His glory, (He ascended to heaven.) [Outro] As I sit once again, with sheep at my side, I remember the star on that eve.
