This one is a modern lemoncore style cover of my Original Song "The Last Day of Us" from January 2025. One of the songs I'm the most proud of myself. The cover-art is a reference to the original with a more modern touch aswell. What was build of trust, Now fades to dust~~ [Verse] Today is the last day of us, The last day of you and me. Even if your cry me a sea, I'll leave you in the dusk. [Pre-Chorus] Don't beg me to stay~~ Got no time to play. (Uuuuh-uh) [Chorus] I spend the last day with youuuuhu. The last day~~ The last day of us. I won't fall on my knees again, I won't regret a damn. One last day, Then I'm away. [Verse] I've seen the truth in your lies, It's time to cut all the ties. Leaving your psycho games behind, No more playing with my mind. [Pre-Chorus] No, don't tease me~~ Just let me be free. (Uuuuh-uh) [Chorus] I spend the last day with youuuuhu. The last day~~ The last day of us. I won't fall on my knees again, I won't regret a damn. One last day, Then I'm away. [Bridge] A long journey to reality, I'm free, no more captivity. Let the new chapter begins, No regrets and no more sins. No more you - just me, Chasing what I really need! [Pre-Chorus] Don't you dare to call~~ You won't break my wall. [Chorus] This was the last day with youuuuhu. The last day~~ The last day of us. Even if you fall on your knees, I don't regret a damn. One last day, Now I'm away. [Outro] This is my last gift to you. The last words - i say to you. It's the last time - i mention you. And the last time – i thought of you. On the last day of us The last - (day) - of us
