I was caught up in the heavens Bands of angels roamed the skies Then I heard them sing the anthem of the ages ‘Twas the song of Moses written Many thousand years ago Now it rang throughout the heavens They sang Great and Marvelous are your works Lord God Almighty Righteous and true are your ways King of all nations Who will not fear you Lord, and glorify your name For you alone are holy, Lord We were standing in the temple Wondering what was coming next When the testimony was revealed Seven bowls were giv’n to angels The wrath of God to be poured out From our God who lives forever They sang Great and Marvelous are your works Lord God Almighty Righteous and true are your ways King of all nations Who will not fear you Lord, and glorify your name For you alone are holy, Lord The temple filled with smoke The glory of our God His power and His majesty We could not stand before Him We could not even enter Until the plagues had been poured out They sang Great and Marvelous are your works Lord God Almighty Righteous and true are your ways King of all nations Who will not fear you Lord, and glorify your name For you alone are holy You alone are holy You alone are holy Lord For you alone are holy You alone are holy You alone are holy Lord For you alone are holy You alone are holy You alone are holy Lord Great and Marvelous are your works Lord God Almighty Righteous and true are your ways King of all nations Who will not fear you Lord, and glorify your name For you alone are holy, Lord All the nations will come and worship you For your righteous acts have been revealed And you alone are holy Lord
