👮♂️: "London Victoria to Brighton"
🎬 Excerpt: Frequency Line — 09:47 to Brighton (Scene: Carriage 6–7, moving toward the Lunchbox) The train cut through the city like a silver vein. Passengers swayed with the rhythm, half-asleep, scrolling or staring into nothing. Down in the middle carriage, the Lunchbox Crew moved slow — eyes scanning, hands twitching. The buggy sat quiet by the luggage rack, its sensors dimmed to low power, pretending to be nothing more than cargo. Ritz tilted his cap lower. “Keep cool, yeah. Act normal.” Rico snorted, whispering, “Ain’t no normal since Nulls took Brixton, bruv.” Kros elbowed him. “Shh. Cameras.” They shuffled closer, step by step, blending into the crowd. Mizzi flicked a glance down the aisle — three Nulls disguised as commuters, their faces a little too still. He hissed, “They’re here too. Told you that tech had scent on it.” Ritz muttered, “We take it clean, no static. Grab the Lunchbox, pop the core, and we ghost out at East Croydon.” Rico cracked his knuckles. “Easy for you to say. Thing fried my hand last time.” “Yeah,” Mizzi grinned, “and you still got five more fingers to test it with.” They reached the middle carriage. The buggy blinked once — soft blue. Then again. Almost like it knew them. Kros frowned. “That ain’t corporate code. That’s… custom. Like, old world Brixton coding. That symbol—see it?” Etched faintly across the chrome: ChillVerse Industries – Lvl. Chill Ritz stared. “Chill? As in that Chill?” Mizzi’s eyes widened. “No way. Thought she was myth — ghost of the old tech lines. Said she rewired the Nulls back in the first blackout.” “Maybe she left us a gift,” Rico muttered. “Or bait.” Just then, the lights flickered. A crackle through the intercom. “Next stop… C̴r̸oy̷d̴o̷n̶…” — the voice glitched mid-syllable, replaced by static. The crew froze. The buggy’s side panels lifted an inch — soft vents pulsing with electric breath. “Oi—” Ritz whispered, “it’s waking up.” Behind them, the ticket inspector stepped into the carriage. Polished shoes. Perfect smile. Eyes — blank. Mizzi felt the hair on his arms rise. “That’s no inspector.” The buggy chirped once — a rapid digital burst. Then zipped backward, rolling under seats as the inspector lunged, arm stretching too long, metal under skin. Kros shoved Mizzi aside. “Go! Grab it before they do!” Rico swung his rucksack, slamming it into the Null’s chest. Sparks jumped. Passengers screamed, scattering. Ritz ducked, yelling, “That’s our Lunchbox!” The buggy screeched a tone like laughter, weaving through the chaos — heading straight for the front carriages. 🎬 Excerpt: ":— Carriage 7” (The Lunchbox Crew vs the Null Inspector) The carriage lights hiccuped twice, then dimmed into a low orange hum. The inspector just stood there — pressed uniform, polished shoes, the kind of politeness that screamed government property. He tilted his head, smile locked too long. “Tickets, please…” he said, voice silky. Except the word tickets came out with three echoes, like it was buffering. Ritz squinted. “Bruv, he’s got lag.” Mizzi whispered, “Lag? He’s got malware!” Rico, already halfway between brave and stupid, held up an old railcard. “Here’s my ticket, officer,” he said — then flung it straight at the inspector’s face. The card bounced off with a sharp clink. Metallic. “Unauthorized payment method,” said the inspector, his grin widening unnaturally. Then — shwip! — his arm extended like a snake, stretching down the aisle.g “Bro!” Rico yelped, ducking as the arm missed by inches and smacked a luggage rack. Suitcases toppled. A baby screamed. An old lady shouted, “Not again!” Kros dove sideways, yelling, “He’s a Null-bot! Split the aisle!” Mizzi grabbed a trolley of sandwiches and rammed it straight at the inspector’s legs. The trolley hit — and exploded in a shower of BLTs and apple juice. Ritz caught a flying sandwich midair. “Cheers, Mizzi.” “Not the time!” he shouted, dodging a metal hand that tried to grab his jacket. The inspector straightened, sandwich stuck to his face, ketchup dripping like war paint. “Evading fare inspection will incur a penalty—” “Penalty this!” Rico snapped, jamming a vape pen straight into the Null’s chest. A spark jumped. The Null froze for half a second, eyes flickering like bad Wi-Fi. “Unauthorized… substance… detected…” Then it sneezed — SSHHUU! actual sneeze noise — blasting the vape smoke out in perfect O-rings. Everyone stared. “Man’s got allergies,” Mizzi laughed. Ritz grinned. “Yeah, to reality.” The buggy chirped again — "beep-beep! "— rolling backward under seats as if enjoying the show. It zipped between a businessman’s legs, nicked a dropped sandwich, and launched it into the Null’s face. Smack! The inspector stumbled, glitching: “Penalty… sandwich… invalid fare class…” “Lunchbox just saved us!” Rico howled. Kros kicked the Null’s leg, which made a hollow dong! sound. “Blud, he’s built like an IKEA bin!” The inspector reached down, voice now octaves lower: “YOU ..WILL..PAY " ( repeat)
