Writer's note: Yesterday, I uploaded to suno quite a Christmas season song, but before I decided on that song, had another first choice. It had a unique riff in the intro, but when I actually had my Persona sing it, it turned out to be a crappy song that didn't build excitement at all, even with his vocal talent. lol Actually, this kind of thing happens all the time. I don't know about the other ppl, but Stevie Wonder is said to have written about 1,000 songs to make one album, and I myself once wrote about 100 songs back-to-back in just 4-5 days for work. However, in the end, only about only 10-15 songs could be onto the album, its limit, and the rest were considered "crap." It's the same even for Stevie. everyone can't put that many songs on an album, lol. Also, imagine if we wrote a song that we thought was "crap" or just to fit the numbers, and then some high-up said, "This is a good song." It's a given in this world that unless you're a too much big name, you can't argue, and that's how shitty songs get released into the world sometimes. It's a pretty unfair world, isn't it? So, today I have to talk about a song, when I want to do something about this crappy song... I always turn to my home of rock, and when I pull out a progressive rock arrangement, Suno and Dovah (Persona) playing some interesting songs, and I was like, "Wait, is this inspired by 💖Led Zeppelin💖?" lol I never thought the Arabic scale would dance in my songs, and it reminded me of 💖Zeppelin's 🎹"Kashmir," and even Dovah did something that made me think, "Isn't this Robert Plant's singing style?" I'll stop here, because I could go on forever about Zeppelin lol In our generation, long-haired blonde rock singers were almost completely extinct; blonde hair and long hair were introduced to our style later. I think the ultimate symbol of this was Robert Plant of Zeppelin 30-40 years ago lol My poor song this time turned around was a very strong, two-sided prog song while there were some very melodic parts. Thanks to Suno and Dovah. However, Suno again made two chord mistakes at the beginning of this song (well, maybe it was intentional, but they aimed something?), and correcting them in the editor was much more of a pain... Some people might still think they're mistakes in current this song, but this was intentional, because a too-clean chord progression would be boring in prog songs, hope you enjoy it PS, this song lyric from suno, i didn't write it sorry i adjusted chords (suno mistake) again, so current version is new edit first version 🎹 https://suno.com/s/Up3J5EDA3vHkSXPm ty for your support ============= [Verse] The streetlights hum they never sleep Concrete rivers running deep A cigarette flick sparks the night Silent whispers catch the flight [Chorus] Invisible string of the city Pulling me back pulling me back Invisible string of the city It’s all I lack it’s all I lack Oh oh oh [Verse 2] Windows glow with stories untold Neon signs both bright and cold A paper cup rolls down the lane The wind it carries my refrain [Prechorus] Every turn every sound This place ties me to the ground [Chorus] Invisible string of the city Pulling me back pulling me back Invisible string of the city It’s all I lack it’s all I lack Oh oh oh
