[Verse 1] Lay your head down low On the steady shore You have carried weight You do not need to hold no more The night can be long But your tears are seen Safe in the Father’s arms Safe where the shadows lean [Pre-Chorus] Let your shoulders drop Let your heart be still There is grace enough There is room to heal [Chorus] Rest In Jesus, rest In Jesus He will keep you through the dark Rest In Jesus, rest In Jesus Close your eyes and trust His heart (Rest In Jesus) (Rest In Jesus) [Verse 2] If the fear comes back With its restless sound He will hush the storm He will hold you down When the road feels cold And your strength runs thin He is gentle here He is near again [Pre-Chorus] Let your shoulders drop Let your heart be still There is grace enough There is room to heal [Chorus] Rest In Jesus, rest In Jesus He will keep you through the dark Rest In Jesus, rest In Jesus Close your eyes and trust His heart (Rest In Jesus) (Rest In Jesus) [Bridge] Hush now, little heart You are not alone Mercy sings your name Love has brought you home [Final Chorus] Rest In Jesus, rest In Jesus He will keep you through the dark Rest In Jesus, rest In Jesus Close your eyes and trust His heart (Rest In Jesus) (Rest In Jesus)
