Inspired by the cult sci-fi horror film Event Horizon, the song tells the story of humanity's first faster-than-light spacecraft, which tests an experimental drive that creates an artificial black hole to bend space itself. 
When the ship mysteriously reappears after years of being lost, a rescue crew boards it and uncovers the horrifying fate of its crew - and the unimaginable place it has been.

Empty corridors, no signs of life
Something's breathing, silent air
Only blood where once their voices were...
