[Verse 1] I can trace Your loving kindness Through the turns I didn’t plan See the doors You opened for me See the work of Your good hands What I thought was unfamiliar Was a place You knew by name Now I look at where You’ve brought me And my heart is full of praise [Pre-Chorus] Every mile behind me Gives me courage for today I can see Your goodness All along the way [Chorus] Where I couldn’t see the road You had paved the way Father, You were moving Before I knew to pray Now I’m walking in Your goodness With a thank You every day Where I couldn’t see the road You had paved the way [Verse 2] You put people on the journey Who became a gift of grace You gave wisdom for decisions Gave me courage to obey Now I see Your care around me In my work and in my home Every place You’ve led my footsteps Has reminded me I’m known [Chorus] Where I couldn’t see the road You had paved the way Father, You were moving Before I knew to pray Now I’m walking in Your goodness With a thank You every day Where I couldn’t see the road You had paved the way [Bridge] Step by step, I will follow Day by day, I will praise When the road is new before me Father, You are still the same Yours the wisdom, Yours the glory Mine the joy of trusting You What You’ve done along the journey Gives me faith for something new [Final Chorus] Where I couldn’t see the road You had paved the way Father, You were moving Before I knew to pray Now I’m walking in Your goodness With a thank You every day Where I couldn’t see the road You had paved the way [Outro] You go before me Your goodness leads the way Father, I will follow With a thank You every day
