Not searching... for proof. Not searching... for enemies. Not searching... to be right. Only... to see. Read Genesis... without yesterday. Read Exodus... without fear. Read the prophets... without argument. Read the words in red... as though they had just been spoken. Notice... which words... are written. And which words... appear only... because you've heard them... so many times. Perhaps... we have memorized... what others have said... so completely... that we no longer notice... the difference. Read... until the familiar... becomes strange. Read... until the strange... becomes beautiful. Read... until silence... begins to speak. Then... close the book. Not because... the journey is over. Because... it has finally begun. The page... points. The Voice... calls. The commentary... describes. But only... experience... can reveal. Maybe... truth... has never been... hidden. Maybe... it has been waiting... beneath... everything... we've been told. Read it... again. This time... let the words... meet you... before memory does.
