Some have heard these phrases when you were growing up. They make you scratch your head in a manner that makes you wonder what that person sees. Don’t get your knickers in a twist. That is not very pleasant let me tell you. Some of us have strange family members but well I’ll be a monkey’s uncle may be taking the insults a little far. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. The next time I am in charge and someone starts complaining I am going to go and stick the grease gun in their mouth. That will calm them down. Don’t you think. Who knows they may even say I am so mad I could spit nails. Then I could tell them they need to grab a hammer start hanging the drywall. Well if that doesn’t beat all. What is That and why does it beat All. Don’t worry though cause there is no point in beating a dead horse. What the heck why are we hitting a dead horse. Well I declare. If someone walked up to me and said that I would be like OK. So what. Don’t ever do that to your parents though. It will not end well I can promise you. My mom used to tell us to not count your chickens before they hatch and don’t put all your eggs in one basket but did not even have chickens for the longest time. We did have cats and dogs though and “it was like herding cats” though somedays. And speaking of those eggs “you can not have an omelet without breaking a few eggs?” Really I will let you think about that one. 
Some people say where there is a will there is a way. There was no one named Will in my family so I could not ask them where the way leads. “Well aren’t you a sight for sore eyes” Not sure I should be taking that as a complement. It doesn’t amount to a hill of beans. You ever tried to climb a hill of beans. Lets just say Oh my stars! You all come back now you hear? My dad would tell us every time that we were saying good bye “Don’t take any wooden nickels” For Pete’s sake I am sure not many people walk around with those in their pockets. I have not seen you since you were knee high to a grasshopper. How small was I originally. And speaking of knees… She is the Bee’s Knees. That I would love to see. You know you can lead a horse to water but you can not make them drink and never look that horse in the mouth if that is a gift horse. The early bird catches the worm but you can’t fish cause it is still dark out. And Don’t Judge a book by its cover as the Hard outer shell is just to hold all the love and kindness in. People want to share their lives with you and to help if you are willing to go the extra mile. Smile and promote Respect and Love not Hatred. Peace!!!!!
