Verse 1 In the storm and the shaking ground, When the nations rage all around, I will rest in the One who saves, Your gentle whisper calms the waves. Chorus Be still and know You are God, Every fear is overcome. I will trust in Your mighty hand, Be still—my heart will stand. Verse 2 When my plans all fall apart, You are strength for my weary heart. You are fortress, You are peace, Your steadfast love will never cease. Bridge You speak and the mountains bow, Oceans hush to Your command. I lay my striving down, I am held in the Great I AM. Chorus (repeat) Be still and know You are God, Every fear is overcome. I will trust in Your mighty hand, Be still—my heart will stand. Ending Be still… be still… And know that You are God.
