Can you see who is making beeping outside? email to D S A, a c l u, tenant assistance March Twenty Ninth twenty twenty four four thirty five P M I'm not sure what to call what's been going on but I can't lose my housing no matter what - it seems like people just retaliate what you say anything. I've been isolated inside since the shut downs. During the 2020 protests it took forever to realize the protests were happening 13 blocks away from this street- it felt like the whole downtown was being attacked. Sonic booms only professionals would have. At this point it seems clear the military used civilians as practice. It's all mixed together, but I'd bet anything whoever was doing cruel things between Burnside and cooch had next to nothing to do with the actual big protest. It feels like people wanted me/this area to have some kind of extra horrible experience. Of course I support black lives matter, always. This was something else. Then the building itself was effected and issues never addressed this whole time. They said someone stole all the keys and then never did anything about it. I've gotten sick in ways I've never been sick before. In horrific pain. Going hungry for up to 10 days at a time. These things are war crimes. The list is too long right now. I'm even writing this because someone just woke me up with this painful bass that doesn't have any music attached to it - it's just weaponized sound. I've been under tremendous duress. I'm also being harassed from inside - it's like I live in a box and my neighbors have just banged on it from above and to the side. They started attacking my door. I ask for camera footage and always get some excuse. It's just getting worse. The building knows full well. They've switched property management twice now just since 2020. I've lived here almost a decade at this point. Everything had been wrong since day one, but I was too young to know before. Now I just don't want to lose all I have left. It's been horrifying. My cat just passed away and I'm sure we both would have lived longer if this wasn't happening. I had never hung out in the entertainment district before I moved in and didn't know it would be so loud, but I didn't complain. I got jobs at night. When 2020 happened the atmosphere totally changed and the sound distortions have been what amounts to psychological warfare. I have had to play something almost constantly for four years. I love music and I need to listen to the news, but this is like forcing you to 24/7. I tried to be an echo of what was important but I don't think anyone gives a flying f about me. They coughed in front of my door in the hallway before there were even vaccines available. January 1st, my neighbor followed me out of my apartment and blocked my path back up the stairs. I'm out of shape from the isolation and was crumbling on the stairs. It seems like someone has hired a personal garbage collector to come around and bang things when they feel like it. Motorcycles and revving and putting exhaust in my space that has choked me out on numerous occasions. The room had broken windows when I moved in and has always been kind of exposed to the outside in a way. It's like they didn't finish the room. I feel like someone did all of this to me on purpose for some agenda that I just can't understand. The fire alarm has been falsely set off over 30 times and they never have an explanation. There's way more details but I'm just trying to survive and now very groggy. I can't return to work I did before isolation and this hasn't let me write like I normally would. I feel psychologically drained and I don't want to lose what I have left, but the situation won't let me get a grip on any kind of future. I haven't known what to do or who to really trust to help me. They're banging from above me again as I write this and slamming shit outside. The person with the isolated bass sound has come around again. If you asked them to roll their window down, there wouldn't be any music. They come around here just pushing that bass into your eardrums and revving over your brainwaves. It's horrible. I know every sound that's normal and what's not. This has just been wrong. I am a rational, competent person. I feel I am on the right side of the universe when it comes to what's important. I care about human rights. It's like whoever they are wanted to break me down so no one would ever listen to me, or they're trying to give me a horrible experience because they actually don't want people to be here. The sound makes it hard to even think. There are too many theories to lay them all out right now. Whatever is going on - I'm a civilian, I have lived in Portland since 2012, and no one had a right to hurt me or displace me from the only real home I've ever had.
