Nordic Discord Challenge Throwback Thursday Genre: Grunge Theme: The 27 Club [Verse 1] They lit their candles in the black A thousand shadows on their back Painted glory on a broken track Fame’s a loaded gun turned back [Pre-chorus] But I hear a whisper from the dirt Not every legend's born to hurt [Chorus] Forever twenty-seven they shout Live fast and die ahead and now But I’m still here I’m still here Forever’s just a word they bled [Verse 2] Ashtrays full and curtains torn A crown of thorns for the forlorn But I wore sneakers through the storm Kept walking when they fell [Pre-chorus] They left their notes and said goodbye But I chose to stay alive [Chorus] Forever twenty-seven they shout Live fast and die ahead and now But I’m still here I’m still here Forever’s just a word they bled
