I don't know how long I slept... but when I woke up... I no longer owned... my own skin. I woke up in a flash... or so my mind believed, Streetlights drawing shadows... shadows that deceived. The ceiling starts to shift, but my body’s held in chains, It’s not gravity, it’s not weight... it’s the end of what remains! Absolute stasis, my soul is staring out, Trapped inside this carcass, a cage of fear and doubt. I tried to scream... but my mouth refused the call, Panic in my veins... as the air begins to stall. I tried to move my fingers... Nothing! Silence so profound, Only my eyes can witness the horror I have found. In the corner of the room... a shadow starts to rise, Tall, static, faceless... death in a thin disguise. No name, no face, a silhouette of black, And I heard it from within... a sound that won't go back. Like a stone falling down... a well without an end, A voice told me: "You opened the garden, my friend." I tried to hide inside myself, but there's no place to run, The room is just a stage... where the silence has begun! PARALYSIS OF THE SOUL... CENTURIES IN EVERY BREATH! The dense biting silence, the shadow watching my death. A presence that won't leave, even when I open my eyes... The scent of the fear... branded where my spirit lies! And suddenly... FREE! THE BODY RETURNS! Breathing in with rage, while the fever burns! Like coming back to life... from a lethal drowning deep, Sitting on my bed... while the terrors start to creep. Eyes wet with sweat, eyes wet with tears, The room is empty now... but I’m haunted by my fears! The shadow isn't there... but I still feel its skin, The seal upon the door... the mark of the sin! The presence... it hasn't fully gone. I still feel it... watching me. "You opened the door..."
