Donald's song Mother's poem
months after her son had passed away, These words I a m sure the mournful mother would like to say Thank you, Dear God, for the child you loaned to us. He was so sweet and kind, he was worth all the fuss. Now that you have taken him back to your place, Just kiss his sweet and loving face. Please Dear God, put your arms around him and hold him tight. Tell him how much we miss him, both morning and night. Dear God, take him by his sweet little hand And I am sure he'll understand; Tell Him we'll try to live just right because we love him so. Tell him we'll be with him someday, and we'll never have to go God, if you can loan us another, Send us one just as sweet, Send us his brother. I'm writing this song thank you for sending another I am that brother.,
