This song is about a dog named Milly A border Collie well trained and smart There is a lot to say about her But where do I start? Sure she can jump and flip When leaping for that Frisbee It's not what makes her truly special It's her single minded focus you'll see It starts with a laid down offering Then that is when she really shines That dog waits with complete intensity Like she is witnessing a crime Never looks away, not even for a moment Even if you do not notice, she is waiting Just like a fishermen Always laying in wait after bating Then you see that Frisbee And reach down to grab it That's when she reacts As fast as a rabbit Good try, now I have your attention I will place it back down This time you'll have to be faster Or I'll grab it and you look like a clown So make your move With lightning precision Don't look her in the eye That is the best decision Once you beat her to it She gets really excited Toss that Frisbee in the air That makes her delighted Watch her run Then that leap It does not matter Short or deep Will she give us a back flip Or just a leaping catch This dog is special Not just a normal game of fetch So she lays it back down at your feet Here comes that focus and determination She is waiting for your next move Oh what a creation So that is the song About that special dog named Milly
