Teach Me, Lead the Way Verse 1 Teach me, teach me, please lead the way, Show me how to trust Him every single day. Being this close to you, I can feel our Savior's embrace, Every step revealing more of His amazing grace. Always walking among the light, though shadows cast their stones, Still your faith reminds me that I'm never on my own. Bless me with discipleship, let your wisdom overflow, So I may shine for Jesus everywhere I go. Chorus Teach me to love like Christ has loved, With mercy sent from Heaven above. When hearts are broken, when hope grows dim, Point every wandering soul to Him. Make my life a living song, Where grace is loud and pride is gone. Lord, shape my heart until they see The light of Jesus shining through me. Verse 2 Loving all others just as Jesus would, Even after they slip and falter for good. Showing them the true love of our Father, Whose arms still gather every son and daughter. Not with judgment, not with shame, But calling every heart by name. Help me wash the feet of those in need, Serving others through each word and deed. Bridge When I stumble, lift me high. When I question, be my guide. Let Your Spirit fill my soul, Until surrender makes me whole. Use these hands, these feet, this voice, To help the lost rejoice. From generation unto generation, We'll proclaim Your great salvation. Verse 3 I'll carry the lessons you've poured into me, Planting seeds so captive hearts are finally free. No longer fearing where this road may bend, For Christ walks beside me until the very end. His love forever lights my way, His truth renews me day by day. And when my journey here is through, May someone sing, "He taught me, too." Final Chorus Teach me to love like Christ has loved, With mercy sent from Heaven above. I'll share His hope through every trial, Reflecting Heaven mile by mile. Till every heart has heard His name, And every life is never the same. Teach me, Lord, and I will stay, Following You all the way.
