BEYOND THE SURFACE 𓂀²

[III — CONNECT] (reggae pulse beneath trance arpeggio) Atoms into oceans, breath into a name, roots beneath the forest drinking from the same rain. Stranger into neighbor, heartbeat into prayer— maybe separation isn’t always what appears. What changes when I stop asking, “What can this give to me?” and start asking, “What becomes possible if I finally learn to see?” A branch alone can imitate life, but disconnected, it runs dry. “Abide in Me, and I in you.” (John 15:4) Maybe connection isn’t finding something outside where I’ve been— maybe it’s discovering the Thread already pulling me in. (whispers: you / me / earth / breath / light / love) [CHORUS II] (drums double; choir widens) SEE what hides between us! QUESTION what divides! Touch the thread beneath the surface, feel the many come alive. What if love is recognition— something ancient saying YES? What if every honest question pulls us deeper than a guess? SEE : QUESTION : CONNECT— (everything cuts) then let go. [IV — TRANSCEND] (one piano note; subharmonic choir) There comes a place where language bends, where numbers lose their nerve, where every symbol points beyond the thing that symbols serve. I followed knowledge to the coastline. Reason brought me faithfully. But reason never promised it could become the entire sea. If I cannot measure love, does that make love less real? If I cannot diagram the soul, does that erase the things I feel? “Now we see through a glass, darkly…” (1 Corinthians 13:12) Maybe awe is not ignorance. Maybe awe is wisdom without arrogance. [TRANSCENDENCE DROP] (4/4 → 7/8 → suspended beat → colossal return) SEE! (eyes open) QUESTION! (walls break) CONNECT! (hearts align) TRANSCEND! Not beyond truth— DEEPER INTO IT. Not beyond reason— PAST ITS HORIZON. Not losing myself— finding where the self was never the center. “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28) [FINAL CHORUS] (festival-scale trance-metal bloom; soaring guitar) SEE—beyond the surface! Let the hidden become bright! QUESTION—without fearing what survives beneath the light! CONNECT—every fragment! Every stranger, scar and star! TRANSCEND—the little borders that convinced you what you are! I don’t need to kill the mystery just to know that something’s true. I can stand beneath infinity and still hear You calling through. SEE! (Look again!) QUESTION! (Seek and find!) CONNECT! (Abide in Me!) TRANSCEND! (half-beat silence) Truth was never threatened by how deeply I could look. [OUTRO] (heartbeat; glass harmonics; one human breath) I thought seeing meant knowing. Then I questioned. I thought connection meant reaching. Then I found I was already held. “Deep calls to deep…” (Psalm 42:7) So look again. And when the answer becomes another door— (whisper into infinite delay) go through. :₍𓂀₎:‽:: ⁿ³⁰
