Restoring What Is Broken
In the garden where the morning kissed the earth, Every leaf and river knew its worth. He spoke the stars into their place, And crowned the dust with holy grace. We walked with Him in golden light, No fear of shame, no hint of night. Perfect love in every breath— No shadow cast, no trace of death. Pre-Chorus But freedom whispered through the trees, A choice that brought us to our knees. Chorus Oh, we broke what Heaven made, Turned from love and watched it fade. Hearts once whole now torn apart, Sin left fractures in the heart. But mercy would not let us go, Through crimson streams His grace would flow. From rugged cross to empty stone, He came to claim what was His own. Jesus restores what was broken. Verse 2 Thorns grew where the roses bloomed, Hope felt buried in the tomb. Hands that formed the earth from clay Were pierced to wash our guilt away. The sky grew dark, the veil was torn, The Lamb of God was crowned with thorns. Love poured out in scarlet streams— Redeeming shattered hopes and dreams. Pre-Chorus The grave thought it had sealed the door, But death could not hold Him anymore. Chorus Oh, we broke what Heaven made, Turned from love and watched it fade. Hearts once whole now torn apart, Sin left fractures in the heart. But mercy would not let us go, Through crimson streams His grace would flow. From rugged cross to empty stone, He rose to claim what was His own. Jesus restores what was broken. Bridge Behold, He makes all things new, Every promise firm and true. Ash to beauty, loss to gain, Joy arising out of pain. What was stained is washed in white, What was lost is brought to light. Creation groans, but not alone— The King returns to take His throne. Final Chorus (Lifted) We are more than dust and shame, Marked forever by His name. Grace has written a new song, Where the weak are made strong. From Eden’s fall to Heaven’s dawn, Redemption’s story marches on. The scars remain—but so does hope, Love has conquered sin and death. Jesus restores what was broken.
