[Verse 1] Well, gather 'round folks, let me tell ya a tale 'Bout some fake news media and their pity party wail They couldn't believe it when the polls came out Donald Trump's ahead, there's no doubt [Verse 2] They spew their twisted stories with venom and spite Trying to convince the people that they're always right But the truth ain't their strong suit, it's all just a game Playing with people's minds, it's such a dang shame [Chorus] Fake news, fake news, cryin' like babies in the night Can't accept the fact that Trump's got the fight Fake news, fake news, spinning tales without a clue But the people see through you, ain't nothin' new [Verse 3] They say they're objective, but it's all so clear Their bias and disdain, it's nothin' to fear They twist and turn, but the people ain't blind They can see through their lies, every single time [Verse 4] They throw a tantrum, like toddlers in a store When the truth smacks 'em in the face, they just want more But truth don't care 'bout their whinin' and moanin' The people know the score, they ain't dummies no more [Chorus] Fake news, fake news, cryin' like babies in the night Can't accept the fact that Trump's got the fight Fake news, fake news, spinning tales without a clue But the people see through you, ain't nothin' new
